Michael Izhaky, CEO
Michael Izhaky co-founded FT Options in 2003 as a white labeled solution for the equity options market when, as a trader, he experienced a lack of off the shelf systems to support volatility trading. Under his strategic leadership, the firm shifted to a proprietary software service in early 2009 and began experiencing tremendous growth. Michael began his career trading and risk managing OTC FX options and exotics at O’Connor and Associates and Goldman Sachs. He built on this trading experience as a Senior Trader at Merrill Lynch and Royal Bank of Scotland. Later managing technical development of trading, risk management and scanning applications for a proprietary trading firm and a hedge fund led him to launch similar entrepreneurial ventures. Michael holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and in Finance from Wharton, as well as an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
